The city population is rapidly growing, is enough to
think that the asian community that started to settle
here just in the early 1990s, now is one of the biggest
area inside Downtown, full of shopping centres and various
others asian businesses.
Las Vegas' climate can be described with hot summers,
mild winters, abundant sunshine year-round, and very
little rainfall. The town lies just nearby the desert
of Mojave, and because of this arid-climate there have
been recently water resource problems.
We've already talked about the town itself and its
many attractions: however, there are many more interesting
things to visit around the town. For example, look at
the beautiful picture above: it is taken from the Red
Rock Canyon National Conservation Area which is located
just a few miles west of Las Vegas and encompasses 197,000
acres within the Mojave Desert.
